Royal Canberra Cattle Show: Angus bull claims interbreed title | The Land

HE CAUGHT the eye of many last year as a junior taking out jackpot champion bull, but this year he was back with a much bigger title in mind.

Hillview Quigley Q18 exhibited by Hillview Angus, Bungendore, today won the Jason Sutherland Memorial Champion of Champions title at the Royal Canberra Cattle Show sponsored by Ausmectin.

Judges were Steve Carter, Blackjack Shorthorns, Tumut, Peter Cook, Barana Simmentals, Coolah, Renee Keith, Allenae Angus and Poll Herefords, Roslyn and Emily Polsen (associate), Grace Valley Livestock, Yass.

Going home with a truck full of awards, Quigley Q18 was the supreme champion beef breed bull, as well as the senior and grand champion Angus bull and supreme Angus exhibit of the show.
