Why a NSW prison escapee handed himself in after 29 YEARS

An escaped NSW prison inmate on the run for nearly 30 years has handed himself in.

The man was 35 when he escaped a correctional facility in Grafton, in northern NSW, between 7pm on July 31, 1992 and 7am the following morning, police said.

It’s alleged the man used tools including a hacksaw…
